2019 was an insane year for a lot of artists, with new artists rising to the top leaves opportunity for new ones to rise up in this next year. We’ve rounded up seven artists to keep your eyes on in 2020 as we expect big things for these artists.

Hailing from Chicago, INZO is one to watch this year for his euphoric and diverse drops. His style ranges from bass to future bass to funky vibes. He released his first EP on Wakaan label, record label owned by Liquid Stranger. He’s been on a couple of tour stops with LSDREAM and will be opening for Kaivon for a couple of shows in early 2020.

A Dirtybird QUEEN graced many lineups this year. VNSSA had an awesome 2019, but she’s just warming. I expect big things from her this year in being a cannot miss set for festival season 2020. I’m already excited to see her at Electric Forest for a groovy house set filled with catchy lyrics, disco house, and more. Get your shuffle shoes ready!

Hex Cougar has some of the most iconic remixes of some of your favorite RL Grime, Alison Wonderland, Illenium, KRANE and more. He just announced his first headlining tour which is super exciting. His infectious bass vibe will get you dancing and head bobbing along. I anticipate he’ll be on many lineups this next year, but if you’re headed to Electric Forest you can find him there.

I saw Win and Woo at Lollapalooza this year and they put on such a fun and energetic set. Think EDM pop mixed with house and just all around good vibes. They’ve toured with Louis the Child and have had some fun releases. Definitely keep an eye on this duo.

With releases on Chris Lake’s label Black Book this year, Noizu made major waves this year and I expect he’ll get even bigger in 2020. So many bops in his catalog already that you probably know like Dance, Rave Alarm, Music Sounds Better With You and so much more. He had huge sets at EDC Las Vegas and EDC Orlando I expect he’ll be announced for more lineups in 2020.

Another female up and comer that rose up this year and grew a solid fan base. With her space bass vibes, she had many releases on Wakaan’s label as well. Definitely check her out and get down to that wonky bass. She was already announced for Hangout Fest, Excision: Thunderdome, Excision: Evolution Tour and more to come.
Last but definitely not least, representing dubstep, LICK has had a big 2019 and I imagine will blow up in 2020. He has a loyal fan base to go with his fiery, dark music that’ll leave you wanting more. He also had iconic collabs with Whipped Cream and The Glitch Mob. He’ll be closing out 2019 at Audiotistic and kicking off 2020 with a headline show in Denver
Which artists are you hoping to blow up in 2020? Let us know who you were vibing to this year. We hope you have an awesome New Years and if you’re hitting any events or festivals be sure to pack your Zound earplugs to protect your ears and pack a fanny pack while you’re at it to secure your items at the event.
